FAQ
What’s this Camp Kind all about?
We understand that these weeks of being home have started to wear on everyone. We’re missing our friends too! We’re looking to have some fun and spread some kindness together. To that end, we’ll be putting up a week’s worth of ideas of things to make and do at home each day – crafts, activities, snacks, etc. Each day will have a different kindness theme and ideas that tie in with that. Take part in as many as you’d like!
Sounds fun! But if it’s all at home, how is it social?
You don’t have to be face-to-face to be social. 🙂 Some of our ideas will have a social component (i.e. making cards that you can mail). You can also call or videochat with a friend while you do some of the activities. And we’d all love to see the fun that you get up to, so we’re going to have a week-long social media party! Take photos of your adventures and share them using #comocampkind so that we can all take a peek at what our classmates are up to! You can also tag us @comosepta and of course you can tag friends, family, and teachers too to let them see. This virtual camp is for everyone, so spread the word!
Do I have to do everything or stick to a schedule?
Of course not. This is meant to be fun, not stressful. Take part in what looks interesting to you! And if you love an idea from Day 1 but didn’t get around to doing it until Day 4.. share it anyway! No one’s keeping score, we’re just connecting with our friends that we miss.
