This event is hosted by the School of Missouri Contemporary Ballet to benefit their DanceAbility program. Information from them about the event:
“We would like to invite you to our third annual fundraiser, ‘Art Supporting the Arts’, on Friday, September 7th, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Logboat Brewing Company in Columbia, with a rain date of September 14th. (UPDATE 9/7/18: Due to weather forecast, this event has been postponed to the rain date of 9/14/18.)
We will have a silent auction of fabulous art donated by local artists and Logboat will donate $1 per beer sold during the event to DanceAbility. The Grill-A-Brothers food truck will be there and they have generously offered to donate any tips received during the fundraiser to DanceAbility. For the first time DanceAbility dancers will perform at 5:45p! We will also have a temporary tattoo station for the kids.
All proceeds will go directly to cover the costs students with different abilities and their families pay to participate in the program. We hope you will be able to join us for a fun night and meet some of our amazing students!

All donors and sponsors will be recognized on the MCB website. We ask that artists commit to donating their work by August 31st and that their works be available to us by September 3rd.”
