Everyone served by BCFR and their families are invited to come to the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2525 N Stadium Blvd., on Thursday, December 6 from 5:30-8 p.m. for dinner, dancing and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and the Elves.
The Friends of Boone County Family Resources will introduce the recipients of the Super Sibs Awards – an award that recognizes a sibling of an individual with special needs for the supportive, and often times difficult, role they play as a contributing member of the family.
The recipients of the Marie Kovar “One Who Made a Difference Award” will also be recognized. This award is presented annually to recognize persons who have made outstanding contributions to bettering the lives of persons with developmental disabilities.
