So if you’ve visited our About page, you’ve read a bit on who we are, why we started, and how we differ from a typical PTA. But what is it that we do? Well, several things really.

Events & Meetings
We host social events for our member families, organize inclusive community events, and – of course – have meetings. You can read a bit more about each of these things here: Events & Meetings

Mini-Grants
Our district has so many hard-working staff that constantly strive to best support our students. Every building and classroom has unique needs, and to support that we have a limited number of mini-grants available each year. You can read more about that program (and apply) here: Mini-Grants

Party in a Box
Our Party in a Box program has been going on for a few years now, thanks to member volunteers and community sponsors. It helps students in district classrooms enjoy holiday parties. You can read more about it here: Party in a Box

PTA Support
Most of the buildings in our district also have their own school-specific PTA or PTO, which we encourage you to take part in as well. However, there are some buildings that are focused on students with disabilities and don’t have a separate PTA. You can read more about our support work at CELN, Bethel, and Roseta here: PTA Support

Traveling Sensory Space
We have organized a kit of sensory or calming objects that can be transported and set up at various school and community events. Read more (and inquire about using it for your event) here: Traveling Sensory Space
